Take Taiwan Railways to Shanhua Station, then transfer to Tainan City Bus Green 2-1 or Green 11 and get off at Tainan Waterworks Museum.

Alternatively, take Taiwan Railways to Tainan Station, then take the Green Main Line to Xinhua and transfer to Green 2-1, Green 10, or Green 11. Get off at Tainan Waterworks Museum. These routes are listed in the museum’s official transportation information.

By High Speed Rail
Take Taiwan High Speed Rail to THSR Tainan Station. Selected services of Tainan City Bus Green 16 operate between THSR Tainan Station and Xinhua. At Xinhua, transfer to Green 2-1, Green 10, or Green 11, and get off at Tainan Waterworks Museum. As not every Green 16 service stops at the THSR station, passengers are advised to check the current timetable before traveling. 

Alternatively, walk from THSR Tainan Station to the connected TRA Shalun Station, take a local train to Tainan Station, and then follow the bus route described above. THSR officially lists the Shalun Line as a transfer option from THSR Tainan Station.

By Tainan City Bus
The main bus routes serving the museum are Green 2-1, Green 10, and Green 11. Get off at Tainan Waterworks Museum. From central Tainan, take the Green Main Line to Xinhua and transfer to one of these routes. From Shanhua, Green 2-1 and Green 11 provide connections to the museum.

By Car
When traveling northbound on National Freeway 3, connect to National Freeway 8 at Xinhua System Interchange, continue via Provincial Highway 20 and then City Road 178 to the museum. When traveling southbound on National Freeway 3, exit at Shanhua Interchange and continue via City Road 178. 

Parking lots are available on both the east and west sides of the museum. The west parking area also accommodates tour buses. The current official parking fee is NT$30 per hour for passenger cars and NT$50 per hour for large buses.
