Inspired by Jewish traditions, immigrant cultures, and contemporary life, the ensemble uses modern choreography to reflect the diverse cultural fabric of Israel.

Havatzelot – Netanya is a representative dance company of the Israeli city of Netanya and operates within the municipal cultural-center system under the artistic direction of choreographer Lior Tavori. The organization includes approximately 150 dancers divided into children’s, youth, and adult groups. It has long been engaged in the creation and performance of Israeli stage dance and frequently represents Netanya and Israel in international cultural exchange activities around the world.

【Performance Highlights】
The repertoire draws on Jewish traditions, the cultural memories of different immigrant communities, and aspects of contemporary Israeli life, reinterpreting them on stage through modern choreography. The performances emphasize ensemble formations, rhythmic variation, and visual impact, with brightly colored costumes and a distinctly contemporary movement language. Rather than simply reproducing the folklore of a single region, the group focuses on the meeting and blending of different cultural backgrounds within contemporary Israeli society.
