Established in 2013, Ba Fang Traditional Arts and Innovation Troupe stands on the solid foundation of arts and culture in Tainan City, focusing on the transmission of Taiwan’s traditional culture in the form of performing arts, with the goal of popularizing local culture and contributing to Taiwan’s cultural development. Members of the group come from schools of all levels, and are rich in music or martial arts skills.

Ba Fang’s performances feature a fusion of Chinese music, martial arts, and traditional yichen (art activity), and are dedicated to showcasing Taiwan’s heritage of traditional arts. The group has traveled abroad to perform in Italy, New Zealand, Shanghai, and Honolulu with great acclaim.
