Founded in 2013, Chi Shan Performing Arts Studio focuses on the creation of traditional dance with diabolo (Chinese yo-yo) skills. In addition to dance training, the dancers also learn diabolo, a Chinese folkloric technique, and incorporate it into their performances, creating a unique style of the group’s work. Chi Shan’s main features include their amazing skills, dazzling performance, and spectacular visual effects.

Their performances are based on the lively and diversified characteristics of Taiwan’s local culture, creating new choreographies that combine diabolo. While not losing the traditional folkloric elements, they also bring extra excitement to enhance the audience’s visual experience.
