Nadsenci means “passionate people”. Founded in 2007, the ensemble is dedicated to presenting vibrant folk art. Nadsenci’s repertoire is divided into two categories: traditional dance and music from Trenčín and other parts of Slovakia, and non-traditional folk art with a sense of humor. These productions not only showcase the richness of Slovakia’s local culture, but also incorporate modern elements to create a unique style of performance.

Over the past 15 years, Folklore Ensemble Nadsenci has performed at music festivals around the world to enthusiastic audiences. Currently, the ensemble consists of 35 members in three sections: dance, singing and music, most of whom are between the ages of 20 and 30. This young and passionate team continues to captivate audiences for their unique performance style and rich cultural connotation.
