The Folk Song and Dance Group Podlasie has a longstanding interest in Polish folk culture and is an artistic ambassador for Polish culture both nationally and globally. Since its establishment, the group has been active in all major international folklore festivals, presenting a wide variety of Polish music, dance and exquisite traditional costumes. Each performance incorporates elements of music and dance from different regions, vividly embodying the local customs and cultural heritage.

The group has an extensive repertoire of Polish folk dances, as well as dances from different regions of Poland, including Eastern Krakow, the Sądeckie Lachy, Beskid Żywiecki, Śląski, dances from Opoczno, Rzeszów, Kurpie, and above all from Lublin and Podlasie. The interplay of acting, dancing and music not only demonstrated Poland’s regional specialties, but also gave the audience a deep impression of the uniqueness of Polish traditions.
