The thunder of drums, vivid costumes, energetic dance, and street cheers come together in one of Aklan Province's most iconic cultural celebrations: the Ati-Atihan Festival. This cultural outreach program invites audiences to discover the festival's cultural background, devotion to the Santo Niño, drum rhythms and dance, distinctive attire, and the spirit of community participation that brings people into the streets to celebrate together.
A delegation from Aklan will also take part in activities and the Parade during this year's festival, bringing the infectious rhythm and energy of Ati-Atihan to Tainan. The program will also move beyond the festival itself to introduce Aklan's natural scenery, island character, local culture, and travel highlights, offering audiences a broader view of this dynamic province of the Philippines.
