Dance Troupe Xin Xin Xiang Yin 新心相印舞蹈團

The Dance Troupe Xin Xin Xiang Yin was founded by a group of Indonesian new immigrants who share a deep affection for their homeland and a profound passion for the art of dance. Brought together by destiny to build their lives in Taiwan, these like-minded sisters, led by Director Chen Kai-ti, use dance as a bridge for cultural exchange. They bring Indonesia’s rich and diverse traditional dance culture to Taiwan, enabling more Taiwanese people to understand and appreciate Indonesia while experiencing the charm of different cultures. They aim not only to transmit their cultural heritage but also to ensure that the next generation and their friends in Taiwan can truly witness the beauty of traditional Indonesian culture.
Indonesia boasts a highly diverse ethnic and cultural landscape, with each region developing its own unique traditional dances. From graceful and intricate movements and vibrantly colored costumes to highly rhythmic music, these elements perfectly reflect Indonesia’s profound cultural depths. Through their performances, the troupe captures the essence and spirit of traditional Indonesian culture. With every rehearsal and live performance, they continuously learn, preserve, and promote the culture of their homeland.
Over the years, the Dance Troupe Xin Xin Xiang Yin has actively engaged in charitable endeavors and cultural exchange programs. They have been invited to perform at various public events, successfully introducing traditional Indonesian dance to communities across Taiwan. Their touring footprint includes major cultural venues and large-scale festivals, such as the 2019 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Pingtung, the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, and the 2024 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Tainan. Through captivating stage performances and live interactions, they provide audiences of all ages with the opportunity to experience Indonesian dance and culture up close.
