Traveling across Colombia's highlands, coasts, and coffee regions, the group pairs live traditional music with dance to showcase the country's rich regional diversity.
 

Aires de Siecha Folkloric Group is based in Guasca, Cundinamarca, Colombia, and is dedicated to promoting, preserving, and presenting Colombian folklore on stage. With aesthetics, education, and social participation at the core of its work, the group provides dance training for different age groups and works with a live musical ensemble to develop artistic skills, cultural identity, and understanding of intangible cultural heritage. The organization currently includes more than one hundred dancers and has a long record of participation in cultural performances in Colombia and abroad.

【Performance Highlights】
A defining feature of the program is its “journey across regions,” presenting Colombia’s cultural diversity through dances drawn from the Nariño highlands, the Pacific coast, the Coffee Cultural Landscape, the Caribbean region, and the Cundiboyacense highlands. Dancers wear traditional costumes corresponding to each region, while musicians perform live on instruments such as the tiple, tambora, millo flute, guitar, maracas, and guache, bringing dance, local rhythm, and regional storytelling together on stage.
