It actively participates in overseas performances and international cultural exchanges, seeking to introduce Sri Lanka’s traditional arts and culture to wider audiences. The academy is an official Sri Lankan member of the International Organization of Folk Art (IOV) and works with IOV to promote the Sri Lanka International Cultural Folk Festival (SICFF), bringing together Sri Lankan and international artists.
