【Performance Highlights】
The repertoire draws on traditional culture from different regions and historical periods of Thailand. It includes Manorah, a ritual-inflected dance from southern Thailand; Rueam Apsara, inspired by the sandstone celestial-maiden sculptures at the Phanom Rung historical site in Buriram; and Ton Worachet, which evokes the graceful bearing of court women during the Ayutthaya period. The performances pay close attention to refined hand gestures, body movement, costume, and posture, using sophisticated choreography to bring the traditions of different Thai regions and eras to the contemporary stage.
