Nowa Daiko is a Japanese drum group founded in 1995 by contemporary Japanese drummer Hiromichi Nagai in the Sawara Ward of Fukuoka City. Since its inception, the group has been renowned for its youthful and enthusiastic young members. All members of the group receive robust and rigorous training, which not only enhances their skills, but also shapes their professionalism in performance. Every year, Nowa Daiko performs more than 100 shows within and outside of Fukuoka Prefecture, demonstrating their excellent skills and profound passion for the art of taiko drumming.

In addition to being active in domestic performances, Nowa Daiko has also been invited to participate in international events and has exciting overseas performances in Taiwan, Jakarta, and Korea. Their performances not only showcase the traditional flavor of Japanese taiko drums, but also promote intercultural exchanges with other parts of the world.
